Hello Caregivers!
Our sweet Marblehead family is looking for an active, engaging, compassionate and reliable nanny to care for their 2 young children! Infant and toddler experience a must have! Ideal candidates are experienced with age appropriate developmental activities and conscious of keeping kiddos engaged, growing, and learning through play. The family would prefer a nanny who likes to play, plan local outings, is super reliable and can easily adapt to family's routine. Candidates must be open with communication and comfortable with mom and dad coming and going in the home, as they are both spending some time WFH (in separate office spaces). The nanny would help with preschool pick-ups as the three year old attends preschool M-F 9:00am-12:00pm. During those hours, the nanny would only be responsible for the baby. Candidates with their own reliable vehicle preferred, but family could provide a vehicle for work use if necessary. **Seeking a LONG-TERM commitment. Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm (40 hours paid/wk guaranteed)
Charges: Girl 3.5 years & Girl 8 months
Rate: $28.00 per hour
Benefits: 3 weeks paid vacation, paid holidays, 5 sick days, guaranteed pay
Start Date: June 3rd 2024 (option to start sooner, if preferred)
Job description:
- Creating a safe and stimulating environment for children
- Tidying up after the kids and the work day
- Bathing and dressing
- Preparing meals and snacks
- Indoor and outdoor play
- Stimulating activities and age appropriate games
- Facilitating age appropriate developmental activities- crafts, singing, reading, etc.
- Taking kids on outings- park, beaches, playdates, walks, groups, etc.
- Children's laundry as needed
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- Looking for long-term placement
- Active, energetic, LOVES BABIES-PRESCHOOLERS!
- Regular vaccinations preferred
- Organized, motivated and task-driven
- Non-smokers only, please.
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Cheery and Helpful Disposition
- Background Check (provided by agency)
- Driving Record (provided by agency)
- Takes good direction on parenting style and family's routine, then requires minimal to no oversight.
